Book 14, Chapter 89
tataste brāhmaṇāḥ sarve muditā jagmur ālayān | tarpitā vasunā tena dharmarājena dhīmatā ||
A righteous king upholds dharma through dāna: giving wealth in a way that genuinely satisfies the recipients, especially learned brāhmaṇas, is portrayed as a concrete expression of ethical governance and social responsibility.
After receiving gifts/wealth, the brāhmaṇas are pleased and return to their homes; the narrator emphasizes that Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira, being wise, has fully gratified them through his generous distribution.
