धृतराष्ट्रस्य पश्चात्तापः तथा वनप्रस्थानानुज्ञा | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Remorse and Request for Forest-Retirement
सर्वे मन्त्रगृहे वर्ज्या ये चापि जडपड़व: । “जहाँ अधिक घास-फूस या झाड़-झंखाड़ न हो
sarve mantragṛhe varjyā ye cāpi jaḍapaṅgavaḥ | mantrabhede hi ye doṣā bhavanti pṛthivīkṣitām ||
मन्त्र-गृह में जो जड़बुद्धि या पंगु हों, वे सब वर्जित रहें। क्योंकि मन्त्र-भेद होने पर पृथ्वी का शासन करने वाले राजाओं को जो दोष और विपत्तियाँ घेर लेती हैं, वे अत्यन्त भयंकर होती हैं।
