Bhīma’s Harsh Speech Heard by Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Gāndhārī
वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! वेदवेत्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ
evam etan mahābāho yathā vadasi bhārata | rājāyaṁ vṛddhatāṁ prāptaḥ pramāṇe parame sthitaḥ ||
वैशम्पायन बोले—जनमेजय! युधिष्ठिर के ऐसा कहने पर वेदवेत्ताओं में श्रेष्ठ, महातेजस्वी और महाप्राज्ञ व्यास ने उन्हें समझाते हुए फिर कहा—“महाबाहु भरतनन्दन! जैसा तुम कहते हो वैसा ही है; किन्तु राजा धृतराष्ट्र वृद्ध हो चुके हैं और जीवन की अंतिम सीमा पर स्थित हैं।”
