Kuntī–Vyāsa Dialogue on Durvāsā’s Boon and Karṇa’s Birth
स राजा जाह्नवीतीरे यथा ते कथितं मया । तेनाग्निना समायुक्त: स्वेनैव भरतर्षभ
sa rājā jāhnavītīre yathā te kathitaṃ mayā | tenāgninā samāyuktaḥ svenaiva bharatarṣabha ||
नारद बोले—भरतश्रेष्ठ! जैसा मैंने तुमसे कहा था, वह राजा जाह्नवी (गंगा) के तट पर अपने ही (स्वेच्छा से प्रज्वलित) अग्नि में लीन हो गया।
