Shloka 3

धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas

तथैव भीमसेनो<पि धृतराष्ट्र जनाधिपम्‌ । नामर्षयत राजेन्द्र सदैव दुष्टवद्भधृदा

tathaiva bhīmaseno 'pi dhṛtarāṣṭraṃ janādhipam | nāmarṣayata rājendra sadaiva duṣṭavad dhṛdā ||

वैशम्पायन बोले— राजेन्द्र! उसी प्रकार भीमसेन भी जनाधिपति धृतराष्ट्र को कभी क्षमा न कर सके; वे सदा उन्हें मन में दुष्ट के समान ही मानकर दुर्भावना रखते थे।
