Vidura’s Message to Dhṛtarāṣṭra: Authorization for Dāna and Public Welfare (विदुरवाक्यम्—दानानुज्ञा)
वैशम्पायन उवाच इति ते तस्य तच्छुत्वा देवर्षेर्मधुरं वच: । सर्वे सुमनस: प्रीता बभूवु: स च पार्थिव:
vaiśampāyana uvāca — iti te tasya tac chrutvā devarṣer madhuraṃ vacaḥ | sarve sumanasaḥ prītā babhūvuḥ sa ca pārthivaḥ ||
वैशम्पायन बोले—राजन्! देवर्षि के ये मधुर वचन सुनकर वे सब लोग हर्षित हो उठे; और राजा धृतराष्ट्र भी महान् आनंद से भर गया।
