ब्राह्मणानां सतामेष ब्राह्मो धर्मो युधिष्ठिर । आवाह्गामावहेदेवं यो दद्यादनुकूलत:
brāhmaṇānāṃ satām eṣa brāhmo dharmo yudhiṣṭhira | āvāhāgāmāvah edeṃvaṃ yo dadyād anukūlataḥ ||
भीष्म ने कहा— हे युधिष्ठिर! सत्पुरुष ब्राह्मणों का यह ब्राह्म धर्म है कि जिसे आदरपूर्वक बुलाकर सत्कार से ग्रहण किया जाए, उसे अनुकूल और हितकारी रीति से दान देना चाहिए।
