Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: nābhivādayate jyeṣṭhaṃ Devarātaṃ narādhipa; putrāḥ pañcāśad evāpi śaptāḥ śvapacatāṃ gatāḥ.

Translation

नराधिप! उन्होंने ज्येष्ठ देवरात को प्रणाम नहीं किया; इसलिए वे पचासों पुत्र भी शापित होकर श्वपच (चाण्डाल) की अवस्था को प्राप्त हो गए।
