Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
पूर्वे वयसि कर्माणि कृत्वा पापानि ये नरा: । पश्चात् गड्ां निषेवन्ते तेडपि यान्त्युत्तमां गतिम्
pūrve vayasi karmāṇi kṛtvā pāpāni ye narāḥ | paścāt gaḍāṃ niṣevante te 'pi yānty uttamāṃ gatim ||
जो मनुष्य जीवन के पूर्व भाग में पापकर्म करके भी, बाद में गङ्गा का सेवन करने लगते हैं—वे भी उत्तम गति को प्राप्त होते हैं।
