द्वारवत्यां समासीन पुरा मां कुरुनन्दन । प्रद्युम्न: परिपप्रच्छ ब्राह्म॒णैः परिकोपित:
Dvāravatyāṃ samāsīnaḥ purā māṃ Kurunandana | Pradyumnaḥ paripapraccha brāhmaṇaiḥ parikopitaḥ ||
वायु ने कहा—हे कुरुनन्दन! बहुत पहले की बात है, जब मैं द्वारवती में निवास कर रहा था, तब मेरे पुत्र प्रद्युम्न को कुछ ब्राह्मणों ने क्रोधित कर दिया; और वह मेरे पास आकर मुझसे पूछने लगा।
