वायुदेव उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजन्‌ द्विजानां भरतर्षभ | यथा तत्त्वेन वदतो गुणान्‌ वै कुरुसत्तम

Transliteration

vāyudeva uvāca | śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan dvijānāṃ bharatarṣabha | yathā tattvena vadato guṇān vai kurusattama ||

Translation

वायुदेव ने कहा—हे राजन्, भरतश्रेष्ठ! सावधान होकर सुनिए। हे कुरुश्रेष्ठ! मैं द्विजों (ब्राह्मणों) के गुणों का यथार्थ रूप से वर्णन करता हूँ।
