देवदूतेन यः पृष्ट: श्राद्धस्य विधिनिश्चय: । गतिं त्रयाणां पिण्डानां शृणुष्वावहितो मम

Transliteration

devadūtena yaḥ pṛṣṭaḥ śrāddhasya vidhiniścayaḥ | gatiṃ trayāṇāṃ piṇḍānāṃ śṛṇuṣvāvahito mama ||

Translation

देवदूत ने कहा: “तुमने श्राद्ध के विधि-निश्चय के विषय में मुझसे प्रश्न किया है। अब तीनों पिण्डों की गति सुनो—मेरी बात ध्यानपूर्वक सुनो।”
