Adhyaya 104

अथ शृणु भगवन् स्तवच्छलेन कथितमजेन्द्रमुखैः सुरासुरेशैः /* मखमदनयमाग्निदक्षयज्ञक्षपणविचित्रविचेष्टितं क्षमस्व

atha śṛṇu bhagavan stavacchalena kathitamajendramukhaiḥ surāsureśaiḥ /* makhamadanayamāgnidakṣayajñakṣapaṇavicitraviceṣṭitaṃ kṣamasva

अब, हे भगवन्! ब्रह्मा तथा देव‑असुरेशों ने स्तुति के बहाने जो कहा है, उसे सुनिए। मख का दमन, मदन का मानमर्दन, यम‑अग्नि का निरोधन और दक्ष‑यज्ञ का अद्भुत विध्वंस—इन विचित्र लीलाओं को क्षमा कीजिए।
