तदभावे मया कान्त चिन्तितं मनसा पुनः । न भिक्षा किल दुर्भिक्षे नीवारा नापि कानने

tadabhāve mayā kānta cintitaṃ manasā punaḥ | na bhikṣā kila durbhikṣe nīvārā nāpi kānane

हे कांत, जब वह भी समाप्त हो गया तो मैंने मन में फिर सोचा। अकाल में न तो भिक्षा मिलती है और न ही वन में नीवार बचे हैं।
