नाप्सु स्नायान्न कुप्येत न सम्भाषेत दुर्जनै: । न वसीताधौतवास: स्रजं च विधृतां क्वचित् ॥ ४८ ॥

श्रीकश्यप बोले—हे भद्रे, स्नान करते समय जल में भीतर तक न उतरना; क्रोध न करना; दुष्ट जनों से न बोलना और न संग करना। बिना धुले वस्त्र न पहनना, और पहले से पहनी हुई माला कभी न धारण करना।
