एक एव चरेद्भिक्षुरात्मारामोऽनपाश्रय: । सर्वभूतसुहृच्छान्तो नारायणपरायण: ॥ ३ ॥
eka eva cared bhikṣur ātmārāmo ’napāśrayaḥ sarva-bhūta-suhṛc-chānto nārāyaṇa-parāyaṇaḥ
भिक्षु संन्यासी अकेला विचरे, आत्मा में तृप्त और किसी पर आश्रित न हो। वह समस्त प्राणियों का हितैषी, शान्त, और नारायण-परायण निष्कपट भक्त रहे, तथा द्वार-द्वार भिक्षा से जीवन यापन करे।
