आचार्याय ददौ शेषां यावती भूस्तदन्तरा । मन्यमान इदं कृत्स्नं ब्राह्मणोऽर्हति नि:स्पृह: ॥ ३ ॥
ācāryāya dadau śeṣāṁ yāvatī bhūs tad-antarā manyamāna idaṁ kṛtsnaṁ brāhmaṇo ’rhati niḥspṛhaḥ
फिर यह मानकर कि निष्काम ब्राह्मण ही सम्पूर्ण जगत के अधिकारी हैं, भगवान् रामचन्द्र ने पूर्व-पश्चिम-उत्तर-दक्षिण के बीच जितनी भूमि शेष थी, वह सब आचार्य को दे दी।
