भगवन्निन्दनं श्रुत्वा दु:सहं तत् सभासद: । कर्णौ पिधाय निर्जग्मु: शपन्तश्चेदिपं रुषा ॥ ३९ ॥
bhagavan-nindanaṁ śrutvā duḥsahaṁ tat sabhā-sadaḥ karṇau pidhāya nirjagmuḥ śapantaś cedi-paṁ ruṣā
भगवान की ऐसी असह्य निन्दा सुनकर सभा के कई लोग कान ढँककर बाहर चले गए और क्रोध से चेदि-राज को शाप देने लगे।
