छन्दःपक्षे उषसा पेपिशाने समानं योनिमनु सं चरेमे । सूर्यपत्नी सं चरतः प्रजानती केतुमती अजरे भूरिरेतसा
chándaḥpakṣe uṣásā pepiśāné samānáṃ yónim ánu sáṃ careme | sū́ryapatnī sáṃ carataḥ prajānátī ketúmatī ajáre bhū́riretasā
On the wing of Metre, with Dawn waxing full, let us together follow unto the self-same womb. The Sun’s Consort—together they move—bringing forth, radiant-bannered, unaging, of abundant generative might.
छन्द के पंख पर, उषा के परिपूर्ण होते हुए, हम सब एक ही योनि की ओर साथ-साथ चलें। सूर्य-पत्नी—दोनों साथ-साथ चलती हैं—प्रजा को जानती/उत्पन्न करती हुई, केतु-ध्वजा, अजर, और बहु-रेतस् (प्रचुर जनन-शक्ति वाली)।
