Sukta 3
यः पौरुषेयेण क्रविषा समङ्क्ते यो अश्व्येन पशुना यातुधानः । यो अघ्न्याया भरति क्षीरमग्ने तेषां शीर्षाणि हरसापि वृश्च
yáḥ paúruṣeyena kravíṣā samaṅkté yó aśvyéna paśúnā yātudhā́naḥ | yó aghnyā́yā bhárati kṣīrám agne téṣāṃ śīrṣā́ṇi hárasā́pi vṛśca
Whoso with human flesh anoints himself, whoso the Yātudhāna with horse and beast (for victim) — whoso bears away the milk of the inviolable cow, O Agni: of such cut off the heads with thy fierce heat.
जो पुरुष-मांस (पौरुषेय क्रविष) से अपने को लेपता है, जो यातुधान घोड़े और पशु को बलि-वस्तु बनाता है; जो अघ्न्या (अवध्य) गौ का दूध उठा ले जाता है—हे अग्नि, ऐसे लोगों के सिर अपने प्रचण्ड तेज से काट डाल।
