यद् धावसि त्रियोजनं पञ्चयोजनमाश्विनम्। ततस्त्वं पुनरायसि पुत्राणां नो असः पिता
yád dhā́vasi triyojanáṃ pañcayojanám āśvínam | tátas tváṃ púnar ā́yasi putrā́ṇāṃ no asasi pitā́ ||
Though thou runnest three leagues, five leagues, with Aśvin-swiftness, from thence thou comest back again: thou art the father of our sons.
यद्यपि तू तीन योजन, पाँच योजन, अश्विनों-सी तीव्र गति से दौड़ता है, फिर भी वहाँ से तू लौट आता है; तू हमारे पुत्रों का पिता है।
