Sukta 27
उरुव्यचसाऽग्नेर्धाम्ना पत्यमाने । आ सुष्वयन्ती यजते उपाके उषासानक्तेमं यज्ञमवतामध्वरं नः।
uruvyácasā ’agnér dhā́mnā pátyamāne | ā suṣváyantī yajaté upā́ke uṣásā nákte imáṃ yajñám avatām adhvaráṃ naḥ ||
By Agni’s wide-spreading might, by his established splendour as he rules—hither, sweet-sounding, near unto the worshipper—let Dawn and Night protect this sacrifice, our solemn rite.
अग्नि की उरुव्यचस्—दूर तक फैलने वाली शक्ति—और उसके स्थापित धाम/तेज के द्वारा, जब वह स्वामी होकर शासन करता है; मधुर-ध्वनि से युक्त, यजमान के निकट आती हुई—उषा और रात्रि इस हमारे यज्ञ, इस अध्वर (सोम्य कर्म) की रक्षा करें।
