Sukta 62
स राजसि पुरुष्टुतं एको वृत्राणि जिघ्नसे । इन्द्र जैत्रा श्रवस्याऽ च यन्तवे
sá rā́jasi puruṣṭutaṃ éko vṛtrā́ṇi jighnase | índra jáitrā śravasyā̀ ca yántave
Thou, in the wide realms, O much-lauded, alone dost smite the obstructions: O Indra, victorious and fame-bestowing, (be) for our onward advance.
हे बहुत-स्तुत्य! तू विस्तीर्ण रजसों (लोक-प्रदेशों) में एकाकी ही वृत्रों—अवरोधों—को मारता है। हे इन्द्र! जयकारी और श्रवस्य (यश-प्रद), हमारे यन्तवे—अग्रसर होने—के लिए (सहायक) हो।
