अयं वां घर्मो अश्विना स्तोमेन परि षिच्यते । अयं सोमो मधुमान्वाजिनीवसू येन वृत्रं चिकेतथः
ayáṁ vāṁ gharmó aśvinā stómena pári sicyate | ayáṁ sómo mádhumān vājīnīvasū yéna vṛtráṁ cikétathaḥ
This Gharma, O Aśvins, for you is sprinkled round with laud; This Soma, honey-rich, O ye of prize-winning wealth, whereby ye marked (and mastered) Vṛtra.
हे अश्विनौ! यह घर्म (घर्म-यज्ञ) तुम्हारे लिए स्तुति से चारों ओर से सिंचित किया जाता है। हे वाजिनीवसू (विजय-धन वाले)! यह मधुमान् सोम है, जिसके द्वारा तुमने वृत्र को पहचाना और वश में किया।
