Sukta 137
द्रप्समपश्यं विषुणे चरन्तमुपह्वरे नद्यो अंशुमत्याः । नभो न कृष्णमवतस्थिवांसमिष्यामि वो वृषणो युध्यताजौ
drapsám apaśyaṃ víṣuṇe cárantam upahvaré nádyo aṃśumátyāḥ | nábho ná kṛṣṇám avatásthivāṃsam íṣyāmi vo vṛṣaṇo yúdhyatā ājáu
I saw the drop, moving apart in manifold wise, in the hollow, the streams of the radiant one; like a dark cloud it had settled down. I urge you on, O Bulls, as ye fight in the fray.
मैंने उस बूँद को देखा—विविध रीति से अलग-अलग चलता हुआ—उपह्वर (खोह/गर्त) में, अंशुमती (किरणमयी) की नदियाँ (धाराएँ)। वह काले मेघ की भाँति नीचे आकर ठहर गया था। हे वृषणो (वीर वृषभों), रण में युद्ध करते हुए, मैं तुम्हें वेग देता/उकसाता हूँ।
