Sukta 127
उप नो न रमसि सूक्तेन वचसा वयं भद्रेण वचसा वयम्। वनादधिध्वनो गिरो न रिष्येम कदा चन
úpa no na ramasi sū́ktena vácasā vayáṃ bhadréṇa vácasā vayám | vánād adhidhvánō gíro ná riṣyema kadā́ cana ||
Draw near and take delight in us through well-spoken speech—through auspicious speech, even we. From the forest, from the over-roaring voices, may we never at any time be harmed.
हे (देव/शक्ति), सु-वक्त सूक्त-वाणी से हमारे निकट आकर हममें रमण करो—कल्याणकारी वाणी से, हम भी। वन से, और अति-गर्जन करती ध्वनियों से, हम कभी भी आहत न हों।
