Sukta 27
देवानां निहितं निधिं यमिन्द्रोऽन्वविन्दत् पथिभिर्देवयानैः । आपो हिरण्यं जुगुपुस्त्रिवृद्भिस्तास्त्वा रक्षन्तु त्रिवृता त्रिवृद्भिः
devā́nāṃ ní-hitaṃ nidhíṃ yám índro ’nv ávindat pathíbhiḥ deva-yā́naiḥ | ā́po híraṇyaṃ jugupús trivṛ́dbhis tā́s tvā rakṣantu trivṛ́tā trivṛ́dbhiḥ |
The treasure of the Gods, laid up in hiding, which Indra tracked and found by paths that lead to heaven—Gold did the Waters guard with triple ward: may those same Waters guard thee, threefold, with threefold guards.
देवताओं का वह गुप्त-निहित निधि, जिसे इन्द्र ने देवयान (स्वर्ग-मार्ग) पथों से खोजकर पाया। जलों ने उस स्वर्ण की त्रिवृत् (तीन-परत) रक्षा की; वही जल तुम्हारी भी त्रिवृत् रूप से, त्रिवृत् रक्षाओं से रक्षा करें।
