परीदं वासो अधिथाः स्वस्तयेऽभूर्वापीनामभिशस्तिपा उ । शतं च जीव शरदः पुरूचीर्वसूनि चारुर्वि भजासि जीवन्

IAST Transliteration

párī́daṃ vā́so adhithāḥ svastáye ’bhū́r vāpīnā́m abhíśastipā́ u | śatáṃ ca jī́va śarádaḥ purūcī́r vásūni cā́rur ví bhajāsi jī́van

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Round thee thou hast assumed this garment for welfare; thou hast become, indeed, a warder from imprecation for the pools. Live thou a hundred years, yea many autumns; and, living, in seemly wise divide and enjoy thy goods.

Translation

तूने अपने चारों ओर यह वस्त्र कल्याण के लिए धारण किया है; और तू सचमुच जलाशयों/कुण्डों के लिए अभिशाप-रक्षक बन गई है। तू सौ वर्ष, अनेक शरद्-ऋतुओं तक जी; और जीवित रहते हुए, शोभन रीति से अपने वसुओं (संपत्तियों) का विभाजन कर और भोग कर।
