उपहूता नः पितरः सोम्यासो बर्हिष्येऽषु निधिषु प्रियेषु । त आ गमन्तु त इह श्रुवन्त्वधि ब्रुवन्तु तेऽवन्त्वस्मान्

IAST Transliteration

upahūtā́ naḥ pitáraḥ somyā́so barhiṣyé ’ṣú nidhíṣu priyéṣu | tá ā́ gamantu tá ihá śruvántv ádhi bruvantu té ’vantu asmā́n

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Invited are our Fathers, Soma-worthy: swiftly to the barhis, to the treasured, dear deposits. Let them come hither; here let them hearken; let them speak with authority; let them help and guard us.

Translation

हमारे पितर—सोम-योग्य—आहूत किए गए हैं; वे शीघ्र ही बर्हिस् पर, इन प्रिय और निधि-रूप अर्पणों के पास आकर विराजें। वे यहाँ आएँ; यहाँ सुनें; अधिकारपूर्वक वचन कहें; और हमारी सहायता करें, हमारी रक्षा करें।
