Sukta 3
आसीनासो अरुणीनामुपस्थे रयिं धत्त दाशुषे मर्त्याय । पुत्रेभ्यः पितरस्तस्य वस्वः प्र यच्छत त इहोर्जं दधात
āsī́nāso aruṇī́nām upásthe rayíṃ dhatta dāśúṣe mártyāya | putrébhyaḥ pitaraḥ tásya vásvaḥ prá yacchata té ihórjaṃ dadhāta
Seated in the lap of the Ruddy Ones, bestow ye wealth upon the mortal who hath offered. O Fathers, O bounteous ones, grant it forth unto his sons: may they here establish nourishment and strength.
अरुणों (रुद्रवर्णों) की गोद में आसीन होकर, हे पितरो, जो दान-यज्ञ करता है उस मर्त्य को धन प्रदान करो। हे वसु-स्वरूप पितरो! उसका वह धन उसके पुत्रों को भी आगे प्रदान करो; वे यहाँ अन्न-रस और बल-वीर्य स्थापित करें।
