ये अन्ता यावतीः सिचो य ओतवो ये च तन्तवः । वासो यत् पत्नीभिरुतं तन्नः स्योनमुप स्पृशात्
yé ántā yā́vatīḥ síco yá ótavo yé ca tántavaḥ | vā́so yát patnī́bhir utáṃ tán naḥ syónam úpa spṛśāt
What ends there are, what seams soever, what weavings and what threads—what garment is with the wives; may that touch us with benign and homely grace.
जो भी छोर हैं, जितनी भी सीमें हैं, जो भी बुनावटें और जो भी तंतु (धागे) हैं—जो वस्त्र पत्नियों के साथ (सम्बद्ध) है; वह हमारे पास कल्याणकारी, गृह्य-शुभ अनुग्रह के साथ आकर हमें स्पर्श करे।
