Sukta 8
तस्माद् वै विद्वान् पुरुषमिदं ब्रह्मेति मन्यते । सर्वा ह्यऽस्मिन् देवता गावो गोष्ठ इवासते
tásmād vái vidvā́n púruṣam idáṃ bráhmeti mányate | sárvā hí ’smín devátā gā́vo goṣṭhá ivā́sate ||
Therefore the knower holds the Person to be this Brahman: for in him all the Divinities abide, as cows abide within the cattle-stall.
इसलिए जो विद्वान् है, वह पुरुष को ही ‘यह ब्रह्म’ मानता है; क्योंकि उसी में सब देवता वैसे ही निवास करते हैं जैसे गोशाला में गौएँ रहती हैं।
