Sukta 8
निन्दाश्च वा अनिन्दाश्च यच्च हन्तेति नेति च । शरीरं श्रद्धा दक्षिणाश्रद्धा चानु प्राविशन्
nindā́ś ca vā́ anindā́ś ca yác ca hánteti néti ca | śarī́raṃ śraddhā́ dakṣiṇā́śraddhā́ cā́nu prā́viśan ||
Blames and non-blames; and whatever is ‘Slayer,’ and ‘Not so’; into the body Faith entered, and the Dakṣiṇā, and Unfaith likewise after it.
निन्दाएँ और अनिन्दाएँ; और जो कुछ ‘हन्ता’ है तथा ‘न-ऐसा’ भी; शरीर में श्रद्धा प्रविष्ट हुई, और दक्षिणा, तथा अश्रद्धा भी उसके पीछे-पीछे।
