Sukta 6
मुञ्चन्तु मा शपथ्याऽदहोरात्रे अथो उषाः । सोमो मा देवो मुञ्चतु यमाहुश्चन्द्रमा इति
muñcántu mā śapathyā́d ahorātré átho uṣā́ḥ | sómo mā devó muñcatu yám āhúś candramā́ íti ||
Let Day and Night, and let the Dawns, release me from the oath-bound sin. Let Soma, the God, release me—he whom men call the Moon.
दिन और रात्रि, और उषाएँ—ये मुझे शपथजन्य पाप से मुक्त करें। और सोम देव मुझे मुक्त करें—जिसे लोग ‘चन्द्रमा’ कहते हैं।
