यो अस्य विश्वजन्मन ईशे विश्वस्य चेष्टतः । अन्येषु क्षिप्रधन्वने तस्मै प्राण नमोऽस्तु ते

IAST Transliteration

yó asyá viśvájanmana íśe víśvasya céṣṭataḥ | anyéṣu kṣiprádhanvane tásmai prā́ṇa námo 'stu te

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

He who, with mind that begetteth all, is lord of this one, lord also of all that stirreth and bestirs itself;—to that swift-shooting Power among all beings, to Prāṇa, be reverence: homage be to thee.

Translation

जो सर्व को जनने वाली मनःशक्ति से इसका स्वामी है, और जो चलने-फिरने वाले समस्त जगत् का भी अधिपति है—समस्त प्राणियों में शीघ्र-प्रहार करने वाली उस शक्ति, प्राण को, नमस्कार हो; हे प्राण, तुम्हें नमो नमः।
