ṛtáṃ hastāvanéjanam kúlyo’pasécanam

Ṛta is the washing of the hands; the channels are the sprinkling forth.

ऋत (ऋतम्) हाथों का प्रक्षालन है; कुल्याएँ (नालियाँ) अपसेचन—छिड़काव—हैं।
