यामिन्द्रेण संधां समधत्था ब्रह्मणा च बृहस्पते । तयाहमिन्द्रसंधया सर्वान् देवानिह हुव इतो जयत मामुतः
yā́m índreṇa saṃdhā́ṃ samádhatthā bráhmaṇā ca bृहaspate | táyāhám índra-saṃdháyā sárvān devā́n ihá huve itó jayata mā́m utáḥ ||
The compact which thou, O Bṛhaspati, hast firmly set with Indra, and by the power of sacred speech—by that Indra-compact I here invoke all the Gods: from this side conquer ye; win ye me moreover.
हे बृहस्पते! जो संधि/समझौता तुमने इन्द्र के साथ, और ब्रह्म (पवित्र वाणी/मन्त्र-शक्ति) के द्वारा दृढ़ किया है—उसी इन्द्र-संधि से मैं यहाँ सब देवों का आह्वान करता हूँ। इस ओर से तुम विजय करो; और मुझे भी जिताओ।
