Sukta 8
puṇḍarī́kaṃ náva-dvāraṃ tribhír guṇébhir āvṛ́tam | tasmín yád yákṣmā́tman-vát tád vái brahma-vidó viduḥ ||
A lotus-seat with nine portals, enclosed about with the threefold qualities: what therein is selfed with wasting-disease, that, verily, the knowers of Brahman know.
Rishi: Traditionally Atharvanic/Angirasa attribution for speculative-healing hymns (exact r̥ṣi assignment varies in anukramaṇī traditions).
Devata: Brahman / Ātman (with yákṣma as adversarial presence)
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (predominant; this verse scans as anuṣṭubh-like with Atharvanic flexibility)
