Sukta 6
यमबध्नाद् बृहस्पतिर्देवेभ्यो असुरक्षितिम्। स मायं मणिरागमत् सर्वाभिर्भूतिभिः सह
yám abadhnā́d bṛ́haspátir devébhyo asúra-kṣitim | sá māyáṃ maṇír ā́gamat sárvābhir bhūtíbhir sahá ||
Whom Bṛhaspati bound for the Gods—the Asura’s fastness—thence came the Jewel, the Māyā, attended with all prosperities together.
जिस असुर की दुर्ग-रक्षा को बृहस्पति ने देवों के लिए बाँध दिया—उसी से यह मणि, यह माया, उत्पन्न हुई; वह समस्त समृद्धियों/भूतियों के साथ-साथ आई।
