सं हि शीर्षाण्यग्रभं पौञ्जिष्ठ इव कर्वरम्। सिन्धोर्मध्यं परेत्य व्यऽनिजमहेर्विषम्

IAST Transliteration

sáṃ hí śīrṣā́ṇy ágrabhaṃ pauñjíṣṭha iva kárvaram | síndhor mádhyaṃ parétya ví ’nijám ahér víṣam ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

For I have seized together the heads, as the mightiest seizes the speckled serpent: gone to the river’s midst, I have cast apart and stilled the serpent’s poison.

Translation

मैंने उनके सिरों को एकत्र पकड़ लिया है—जैसे परम-बलवान चितकबरे सर्प को पकड़ लेता है। नदी के मध्य में जाकर मैंने सर्प-विष को अलग कर दिया और उसे शान्त कर दिया।
