चतुर्धा रेतो अभवद् वशायाः । आपस्तुरीयममृतं तुरीयं यज्ञस्तुरीयं पशवस्तुरीयम्

IAST Transliteration

catúrdhā réto abhavad vaśā́yāḥ | ā́pas turī́yam amṛ́taṃ turī́yaṃ yajñás turī́yaṃ paśávas turī́yam

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Fourfold became the seed of the Vaśā: the Waters are one fourth, Immortality one fourth, the Sacrifice one fourth, the Beasts one fourth.

Translation

वशा का रेतस् (बीज) चार प्रकार का हुआ। जल उसका एक चौथाई, अमृत एक चौथाई, यज्ञ एक चौथाई, और पशु एक चौथाई।
