वशा यज्ञं प्रत्यगृह्णाद् वशा सूर्यमधारयत्। वशायामन्तरविशदोदनो ब्रह्मणा सह

IAST Transliteration

vaśā́ yajñáṃ práty agṛhṇād vaśā́ sū́ryam adhārayat | vaśā́yām ántar aviśad odanáḥ bráhmaṇā sahá ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Vaśā took hold upon the sacrifice; Vaśā upheld the Sun. Within Vaśā entered the rice-mess, together with the sacred spell.

Translation

वशा ने यज्ञ को पकड़ लिया; वशा ने सूर्य को धारण किया। वशा के भीतर ओदन (चावल का पका अन्न) ब्रह्मणा—पवित्र मंत्र-बल—के साथ प्रविष्ट हुआ।
