लुप्तव्यायामः प्रव्रजेदापृच्छ्य धर्मस्थान् ॥ कZ_०२.०१.३० ॥

Transliteration

luptavyāyāmaḥ pravrajed āpṛcchya dharmasthān

Translation

जिसका नियत कार्य-कर्तव्य लुप्त हो गया हो (या जिससे वह मुक्त हो), वह धर्मस्थों (न्यायाधिकारियों) से पूछकर/अनुमति लेकर ही संन्यास के लिए प्रस्थान करे।
