Worship of the Nine Vyūhas (Nava-vyūha-arcana)
यह अध्याय पूर्ववर्ती दीपदान-व्रत की समाप्ति बताकर तुरंत हरि-प्रदत्त नवव्यूह-आराधना की तकनीकी विधि में प्रवेश करता है। अग्नि कमल-मंडल की रचना सिखाते हैं—मध्य में वासुदेव, दिशाओं में संकर्षण, प्रद्युम्न, अनिरुद्ध और नारायण; प्रत्येक के लिए विशिष्ट बीजाक्षर, तत्त्व/कर्म-स्थान तथा जल-स्थापन आदि का निर्देश है। आगे सद्ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, नृसिंह, भूर-वराह आदि रूपों के मंत्र-बीज-विन्यास, द्वार तथा पश्चिम दिशा में सहायक न्यास, गरुड़ और गदा-मंत्रों की विशेष प्रक्रियाएँ आती हैं। फिर बाह्य मंडल से अंतर्मुख साधना—दशांग-क्रम पूजा, दिक्पालों हेतु घट-स्थापन, तोरण-वितान की कल्पना और चंद्रामृत-ध्यान। अंत में बारह बीजों से न्यास कर ‘दिव्य देह’ की रचना, पुष्प-क्षेप से शिष्य-चिह्न, शुद्धि हेतु होम-संख्या और दीक्षा-दक्षिणा बताई गई है—दीक्षा को इस कर्म-विज्ञान की सामाजिक व आध्यात्मिक मुहर कहा गया है।
