Related Themes: Agni Purana mantra-prayoga lists for actions (kriyā-mantras) and war mobilization (same khanda context)
It prescribes specific action-mantras: one to be recited while harnessing/yoking horses, and another to be recited at the very start of an undertaking (ārambhaṇa).
Beyond theology, it records practical liturgical usage—short, task-specific mantras tied to real-world actions (transport, mobilization, initiation of work), illustrating the text’s procedural and applied-knowledge scope.
Correct mantra at the correct action-point (yoking and commencement) sacralizes the act, aligning it with dharma and intention, and is understood to support auspiciousness and purity of results.
