Concept: Śabda-śakti: mantra efficacy depends on precise phonetic/graphic completion (svara, bindu, saṃskāra).
Application: During nyāsa and japa, maintain exact vowel length and bindu; treat bīja as a ‘complete body’ with limbs (aṅga) rather than a casual syllable.

It gives a technical rule for constructing/using bīja-mantras: include vowel-based components (especially long vowels), and employ specific bīja-markers such as bindu (anusvāra) and other ‘penetrating’ phonetic/śakti elements as a complete unit.
Beyond mythology, the Agni Purana preserves compact manuals on mantra-śāstra—covering phonetics, seed-syllable construction, and nyāsa-style component analysis—showing its role as a multi-disciplinary reference text.
Correct bīja formation and inclusion of bindu and other prescribed components is presented as essential for mantra efficacy—supporting purity of practice, accurate invocation of śakti, and the intended ritual/spiritual result.
