FAQs

Ayurvedic diagnostic knowledge: it states the time-pattern of doṣas—kapha, pitta, and vāta—showing that doṣas first accumulate (saṃcaya) at the onset of a period and then become aggravated (prakopa) across its phases.

It demonstrates that the Agni Purana is not only mythic and ritualistic but also preserves applied medical theory (Ayurveda), including technical doṣa dynamics used for prevention, diagnosis, and timing of therapies.

By encouraging disciplined, time-appropriate conduct that prevents doṣa aggravation, the verse supports sāttvic living and bodily purity—conditions traditionally regarded as conducive to dharma, worship, and steady spiritual practice.
