Maitreya Upanishad 27 — Verse 27

antaḥpūrṇo bahiḥpūrṇaḥ pūrṇakumbha ivārṇave |

antaḥśūnyo bahiḥśūnyaḥ śūnyakumbha ivāmbare ||27||

Inwardly full and outwardly full—like a filled jar in the ocean; inwardly empty and outwardly empty—like an empty jar in the sky.

Pūrṇatā (fullness) of Brahman/Ātman; inner-outer non-difference; śūnyatā as privation (absence of realization) in Vedāntic framingMahavakya: Echoes ‘sarvaṃ khalv idaṃ brahma’ and supports ‘tat tvam asi’ by indicating the same fullness within (ātman) and without (brahman/world as brahman) when knowledge dawns.YajurKṛṣṇa Yajurveda (Maitrāyaṇīya śākhā) ShakhaChandas: Anuṣṭubh-śloka (classical śloka style)
