प्रोक्तं च कार्तिके मासि कृत्तिकास्थे निशाकरे । सम्यग्भीष्मव्रतं कृत्वा स्नात्वात्र सलिले शुभे
proktaṃ ca kārtike māsi kṛttikāsthe niśākare | samyagbhīṣmavrataṃ kṛtvā snātvātra salile śubhe
એવું પ્રોક્ત છે કે કાર્તિક માસમાં, ચંદ્ર કૃત્તિકા નક્ષત્રમાં હોય ત્યારે, વિધિપૂર્વક ભીષ્મવ્રત કરીને અહીંના શુભ જળમાં સ્નાન કરવું જોઈએ।
