ત્યારે કાર્ત્તિકેયે પોતાની શક્તિ (વેલ) વડે શત્રુનું શિર કાપી નાખ્યું. એ જ ક્ષણે તારકનું શિર ધરતી પર પડી ગયું. આ રીતે મહાપ્રભુ કાર્ત્તિકેયે વિજય પ્રાપ્ત કર્યો.
